My son went on a research trip to Costa Rica with his college. During his three weeks there he made six phone calls home to let us know he was in his room and could call back. Each call was less than one minute.
The hotel said to make a charge card call he had to call a certain number which ended up being BBG Communications. His six calls ended up being almost $240. No where at the hotel was the phone rate displayed nor did he receive any indication of what the rate would be when he was connected using the number provided.
Beware of BBG which appears to be a simple holding company with excessive charges. As an interesting note, the six calls we made in return cost $14.69 for a total of 350 minutes.
