I made a few one minute calls from costa rica to the USA using a BBG card and my total bill is over $300.
When I called to complain they told me the connection charge was $15 $20 minimum for every call. I will be disputing this to my credit card company but doubt it will work. They may say I should have made the effort to find out the rate before making the calls. However, the operator of the card couldn't even tell me the rates when I made the calls. Niether the staff of the hotel that gave me the card. It wasn't stated on the card. Total scam but I am trying to get the hotel to compensate me for it.
They told me they go by the name of international Satellite communications or BBG communications.
