I decided to try out Dish Network; therefore I contacted a local dish network provider, anything wireless, for service. They sent someone out to set up my service. At the end of the installation, the man handed me a two page contract, stating that if I wanted to cancel then contract, then I would have to return the products or I would have to pay for them. There after, I never received any further papers/contract.
Starting with the first day of service, I started having problems. I was able to view some channels, within my plan, but not others. I immediately called anything wireless and explained my situation.
They gave me a few instructions on how to fix it manually. My problem was still not fixed, therefore I gave them another phone call. They told me to try it again, and never sent out anyone to help me with my problem. I continued to have similar problems and then decided to cancel my contract, based on these issues I was having. After all, why would I want to keep a service in which does not provide the channels I asked/am paying for!
My service was then canceled and everything. Three months later dish network along with anything wireless decided to take a total of 900 dollars out of my checking account (with out my consent or authorization. Nor did they send me any kind of bill or inform me they would take this money out of my account.
