I just noticed a 6.95 charge on my bank statement, listed as an ATM withdrawl.
After doing some investigating, it turns out i've been charged 6.95 a month, for nearly 10 months.
Total of 62.55$ charges on my debit account.
After taking more then 30 minutes to find contact info for this company (which i found on usacomplaints.com, there is a TON of complaints here) I went to there website, and tried to remember what i'd done, if anything.
I signed up for a FREE account in april of i remember doing that, and it asked for credit/debit card to verify my age as being 18
It said there would be a temporairy 1$ charge to the account. Never said anything about having to cancel the account after a month, but the next month they begin charging me, 6.95 on my "free" account.
When i called them, they only offered to refund the last 4 months. 27.80$ of the 62.55$ they charged me.
I will be going to my bank tommorow, to see if they can do anything. I have also reported them to the BBB. I will also be notifiying the local police monday.
