Ifriends ripoff? Who are they and why are they charging my bank account

Going over my bank account I noticed that there were charges showing up on my statement that were not familiar to me... IFRIENDS 800 #...
I called the # listed to inquire who and why they were charging me $ 6.95 a month and how they got my credit card #. I was told on the other end that I had signed up online for a friends chatroom service and the only thing I could think of is that they had required me to enter my credit card # to prove that I was over 18 years of age to which the operator informed me that they did not do this... (however the first website listed for them stated credit card needed for proof of age.

Any way they would cancel my membership??? And credit back 1 charge for $ 6.95 when they actually owe me for 2 charges and an overdraft charge of $ 27.00 being charged by my bank. The operator then informed me that I not only had one but three accounts and that he would cancel them. I dont understand how just anyone can go into your bank account and remove funds
