My husband and I were trying to purchase a house and we, of course, had our credit pulled. Three listing on my credit for Palisades regarding a pastdue AT&T account reflected on my credit report. I had to think for a minute, because I have never had an AT&T account. But there they were, 3 of them, totaling $2,239.00.
First I contacted Palisades, who then referred me to another 1-800 number, who then referred me to another 1-800 number, then I was sent to a law office by the name of Welcoff at another 1-800 who said they didn't have the records or account, so they referred me to another law firm at another 1-800 number.
Attorney Scott Ishreal's office said they also didn't have any record or account and tried to send me back to Welcoff law firm. No one seems to have the records, yet here they are, all three, totaling $2,239.00 and I am getting a poor credit score because of it and we couldn't purchase our dream home.
