I am an attorney in Los Angeles, California. This morning I received an alert notification on my Experian report that a company named Palisades Collection, LLC, has reported a $282.00 late account as of July 1. I have no such late account. I had a AT & T cell phone seven years ago that has long since been closed. I cannot find the account number that is listed on my credit report, AT & T, whom my current cell service is with, has no idea, and the numbers for Palisades have some other company answering the phone.
I have never been contacted by Palisades. This type of frauduent ruining of people's credit has got to stop. I would like to consider bringing a class action against this company and AT & T for using them.
Thank you.
