I purchased Bruce Postners Real Estate program and it is a subsiduary of Foreclosure World. The CD's didn't even work. So I sent it back at the address online a week before the 30 day trial.
The day I was sending it back (1 week early) someone called me to say that I should purchase the coaching. I told them I was sending it back and they said according to their records I needed to have it postmarked by the end of the day. Not a problem because I was going to anyway. I ask her to confirm the mailing address and she did. She gave me her number and told me to send it UPS and call when I had the tracking #. I called and she said I wouldn't be charged.
End of story (so I thought). A few days later the package comes back and a note inside says this isn't ours. I try calling every number I find to get a new address but I get busy lines that hang up on you and everything always ends up at Foreclosure world.
Someone called again to say they didn't get the package and that if I don't postmark it by the end of the day I will be charged. They called while I am a work and left a message, on the home phone, and did not use the cell phone number I had give them.
I am not a wealthy person and to lose $297 without warning will send everything bouncing. My husband was kind enough to race over to UPS a 1/2hr before they closed. Meanwhile I left 3 messages saying don't touch the money, begging, pleading, crying. The lady called me and said tell her the tracking # and I gave her the register reciept #.
Someone called yesterday (again while at work and leaving a message at our home#) and said they needed a tracking number. When I went to get gas they declined my Debit sighting insufficient funds and sure enough they took $297. I feel like such a fool and so violated. I only wanted to improve my life and now I'm out an awful lot of money. I am still trying to pursue it but I am doubtful I will ever even get to talk to a real person.
