South Beach Fish market
Non delivery of important documents

I have mailed several items prior to this incident with the South Beach Fed Ex office with no problems. This day, the main computer was not working and I needed to go to the fish market next door. Not a problem as long as I could get my package mailed. The problem arises when Mr. Halsey puts an incorrect address on the package. This package is to be delivered on February 7 to Accra, Ghana. I checked the address on the receipt when I got home and found out that it had an incorrect address. I called the office to let them know of the mistake on Jan. 31. The clerk then took down the correct address and called the FedEX company to correct the address and received a new tracking number, but neglected to pass it on to me. The package was still scheduled for delivery on Feb. 7th. I called to check on the package delivery on Feb 8th. The clerk told me that the package delivery had been delivered but that they couldn't find the address to deliver it to. I called for 3-4 days to track the package before I was told of a different tracking number to go with the new address. These were important documents that needed to be delivered. I was left a message on Feb. 11 to call the Fed EX office as the package was going to be destroyed if not picked up. I called the international office and they said they would check it out.in the meantime I contacted the person in Ghana that was to receive the package and gave him both of the tracking numbers with both the correct and incorrect addresses. He still hasn't received the package. I do not feel that I should have to pay for another package to be mailed to Ghana, and I need to do this, due to the mistakes of others. The package cost $136.89 USD to be mailed to Ghana. I feel that FEDEX should have to pick up the shipping cost of the next package that I have to send to Ghana because of the mistakes that occured on Jan. 30. Any assistance woould be helpful. Thank You in advanceSandra Snyde
