I attended Parks College right after I got out of high school in 1999. I was told I would be able to transfer my credits to any college. I was also told I would receive job placement assistance after college. After I finished my course in I planned to attend University of Denver for 2 more years to finish my BA. While working a part-time job to get experience in my career choice. To my surprise DU informed me that Parks College was on a different grade scale then DU and other accredited schools used. I never received logical job placement. Parks idea of job placement is holds a job fair for the graduating students and alumni's that consist of positions that do not require a degree such as UPS delivery person, 7-11 customer service position. I have gone back to Parks several times to ask them to help me find a position. Now I don't have the experience I need in order to get a position in the field I went to school for plus I have debt from attending Parks so I am unable to start over and go to an accredited college because I will have twice the debt. So I an forced to get entry level positions and try to work my way up. Every position I have gotten has been though my own efforts. Parks basically tells you sorry I can't help you. While at Parks, the staff didn't even help me get an externship. I had to search to find an externship on my own. Do not go to Parks College!!!
