I signed up to receive a trail of e-pro auction, for $1.99, on 1/23 and on 1/25 i was charged their monthly service free (which i did not authorize and was not at all aware of) twice! I called and cancelled my account when i happen to look at my statement (by chance) online and seen the double charges.
I called e-pro auction, they said they only show a record of 1 charge being made on the 23rd, i called my credit card co. I WAS charged twice, i called e-pro back, they had me e-mail and fax my statement to them, then i received an e-mail that i would get no refund because i was supposed to have cancelled my account within 7 days, i cancelled on the 31st. I was charged on the 25th. Only 6 days.
Problem is they supposedly dont show record of the charge on the 25th just the charge on the 23rd, how conveniant that charge is 8 days! I have my credit/debit card through unemployment benefits so my credit card co. Will not dispute the charges, i have to take it up with the merchant.
Another problem, when i call they do not speak english as a first language, habeeb or poonjob or ali is hard to understand. They have been giving me the runaround on the phone and the e-mails answered by their automated ticket system keeps coming back with the same results! I am not racist, i have close freinds from many different races but at least they should have someone in and english speaking country, that you can understand.
So, i continue to call and e-mail them for my refund of the double charged 49.99 that i never authorized. If the other guy files a class action lawsuit, count me in!
