My wife bought a Steinhausen watch for me for Christmas last year. The FREE 30 day trial was given and then they sent a bill for over 200.00, to be paid 35.00 a month until paid. The watch worked perfect till July, at which time it started losing time and the screws holding the band on kept coming out. They sent replacement screws with the watch, but it kept falling out so much I ran out of screws to keep it together. Can't find them anywhere.
We have been trying to get a hold of the company since October to find out how to fix the watch to keep time and to replace the scews. Can't find them. The # to call answers and tells us that that company no longer is associated with them, but can't give me a reason why. They also have no forwarding #. The phone directory and information says no company by that name exists at that # or at that address.
Now the year guarantee is up and I still can't find them. Will not give up though. There are still numerous ads on the internet for Steinhausen watches, but they are all sold by different companies. They say there is nothing they can do because my watch was not bought though them. Can't get a contact with Steinhausen Direct Though. This was in an ad in USA Newspaper.
