The website testimonials make you believe that they are authentic since they do point out that fake watch winders are made in China. This watch winder is as fake as it gets. Very poor quality, almost paper like interior instead of the leather, outside is full of flaws and is plastic. The funniest part was that there is a sticker on the bottom that said made in China. I have already returned the item and he doesn't remember. I am not taking any chances on his "trust me" return policy so, I filed a claim with AMEX and he is not happy - if he planned to give me a refund, why be upset? BTW, Steinhausen's factory is in Switzerland. We have other watch winders that we purchased at Costco at similar prices that are 100% better quality than this Steinhausen.

First off the Steinhausen watch winder is made in China! This is no fake item, we have been the top authorized dealer for Steinhausen for last 7 years and ALL our merchandise comes directly from Steinhausen factory.
Second, do you really think I would spend all that time witting up information for my customers on what winders to avoid and then sell them?
I have never hear this before from any customers and have had thousands of orders over the years. I would NEVER sell a watch winder if it was a cheap spinner that I talk about. There is merchandise that is made in China that is much better quality then anywhere else made in the world! And there is items made very cheaply in China that I tell you not to buy and these are the winders that are mainly are NO Brand Name and sold very cheaply but not Steinhausen which is top of the line in quality and priced right!
Now I receive notice from my Bank you issued a Charge Back? If you wanted a refund, then just contact us but we also could have told you the information I just did so you know what you where thinking was not true.
