We paid over $2000 to ramada plaza resorts, and tried to book a vacation but it was an inconvenient process. They said I was trying to book too far in advance. But the do not provide airfare and you can not book at the last minute when you are trying to find your own airfare. We feel that we were taken.
I read in a rebuttal that a resort emloyee said that youshould sell your vacation to someone else if you are not satisfied. Why the hell would I put someone else through our anguish?
She also stated that the 3rd and 4th travellors were free - lie! I asked if we could bring our kids and extra charges did apply.
Also, I wrote down what was said to me during the telephone conversations and the representatives contradicted themselves during the call. I should have known better at this point. They did not even have their sales pitch straight.
I guess I want to add my name to the list of people who were ripped off in case I can ever get my money back.
If you can not use a service you should get your money back. I do not care that I was told in the conversation that the deal was nonrefundable. You should pay a fee for service. If you do not use the service you should get your money back.
You have to make a decision in the one telephone conversation - extremely high pressure sales - "are you in or out, a once in a lifetime opportunity". My husband and I have accepted that we were suckers and that Ramada Plaza Resorts is a theif.
