Ramada Plaza resorts hooked me in a year ago. I was planning on going in February. I paid the initial fee of $698 in September. I just recently paid the other fee of $698 15 days ago. I then was on the internet trying to find some airfare and ran into this site and could not believe what I was seeing.
I then called Ramada Plaza Resorts and told them I wanted to cancel my vacation, and wanted a full refund. They told me they could not give me a refund. I then asked to talk to someone who could give me a refund. After talking to 3 people they gave me someone named Hal. He refunded the last half of the vacation and told me I had till March to use it. I told him I didn't want to go on a vacation that their is so many hidden charges and itineraries. Until I read some of this website I had not a clue about any timeshare presentation.
I also was pressured into buying this vacation. The salesman told me that it was a one time offer and once we hung up the offer was invalid.
Does anyone have any advice to get the other half of my money back. Has anyone had any success when it has been longer than 30 days.
