She said only a trust worthy government agency would have access to this confidential number. She then asked me to give her the "other numbers" on my check. I asked, "my account number?", she said no the numbers beside the ones I just gave to you. I said, "My account number?".
She would not confirm saying my account number. She just kept saiying the other numbers to confirm the information was correct. Did she think I was stupid? I told her I did not feel comfortable giving out my account number. I asked for a phone number that I could call her back. She said there was no phone number.
I asked, then how did you call me? She stated that after I give her my "account number" AHH FINALLY... She said account number... She would give me a number I could call her back. I questioned the purpose of that and she transfered me to her manager. Her manager insisted and acted insulted that I didn't trust a government agency.
Accused me of not believing in my government. I told her that I had to do some research on her company before I would consider giving out my account number. I asked for her to call me back. She said she would call me tomarrow.
At the end of the conversation, I was guarenteed $25,0000 of free grant money if I gave her my account number. Thank-You rip off report. I look forward to receiving my phone call tomarrow, because now I know it's a con.
