1st Credit of America has been harassing me for a "cancellation fee" in the amount of $187 for My Perfect Credit. I never intended to sign up for My Perfect Credit and cancelled the service, with difficulty, as soon as I found out they were taking money from my bank.
This was back in February, now in July, I am getting calls from 1st Credit for this money or, according to them, they will report a "level 9" on my credit report. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau against My Perfect Credit on July 26th and on July 27th told 1st Credit of America to stop calling me.
They called yesterday, July 31st, and left an "extrememly urgent" message regarding my account. This morning, August 1st, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau against 1st Credit for harassment.
They called again today and I returned the message indicating that they were now harassing me for fraudulent charges, that their client is extorting money from people, and that I had filed a complaint with the BBB against both of them.
Mr. "Rufus" or whatever his name was, said they had every right to try and collect the money for their client and that I would be receiving calls from them daily. I am going to fight this to the bitter end and believe a class action suit against both companies should be instigated.
