Yeah it happen to me too. So A heavy accented woman called Crystal James called with an ID#267 hmmmm sounds pretty ligate right? Then she said that I would be getting 12,500 a year of free grant money that I could use for whatever and I wouldn't have to pay it back! I have been through so many scams and this website has been a godsent.
So I did tell her that the 29.95 bull crap processing fee would be avaiable next week. So she first asked for my routing number to which I said I didnt have right now. So then she asked if she could have the account number to verify funds so my stupid ass gave it to her thinking this might be true.
Well when I was being transferred over to the verification department I check usacomplaints. Coms.com and sure enough it was a scam. So I hung up. Then they started calling back consistently. With a number that was like 18807 which I thought was wierd! So I did some more digging and check with the BBB to which they have many other names also and complaints of course.
Then I checked the website to find out that there domain name has been suspended and email was sent to them notifying the reason. Gee I wonder why?! So finally an unknow number showed up and I answered and it was Crystal saying that we got disconnected. And I said no I hanged up. I began to tell her how she could work for someone who steals money from innocent people and not give a damn! Of course she denied everything even when I told her about the website... She then said it wasn't up because it was a freakin Sunday... I just started laughing. Then she said they are legite and they are apart of the BBB... So I threw it in her face that they have numerous complaints on the BBB website also. I pretty much told her to F'off and if I found out who they were... I would deal with them personally! Of course she just hanged up. It just makes me so mad to hear everyones story on here about gettin ripped off from these guys.
So will see what happens. Sorry for the venting guys. And oh yeah if you just give them your account number they cannot take out any money. They need the routing number for that also. I checked with my bank WM they said its standard with all banks that they need a routing number to actually take money out of your account.
