I was sitting at home minding my own business when my brother tells me I have a phone call. I take the phone and some woman with a heavy accent tells me I am eligible for a Government Grant of $12,500.
She asked me if I was 18 years old or older and asked me if I had filed my taxes for 2003. I told her the truth, and she said that I was eligible for the grant.
Then she told me I was eligible for 100 dollars of "Emergency Cash. Then she said she would mail me further information in 3 to 4 days.
My brother had warned me to not give out any personal account numbers until I see that the company is legitimate and trustable. I didn't think she was going to ask me my account number or routing number but she did.
I told her I wasn't going to give her my routing number until I had information in the mail. She started getting even more rude and started demanding that I give her my routing number and telling me that I can call my bank tomorrow.
She was stating that it was for the protection of me and her company, and to give her the routing number. I told her a few more times that I wasn't going to give her any information on my account and she got angry and we hung up the phone.
Then I went on the internet and looked up the company and the only match in the Google search said RIP OFF!!! So I decided to search for it and read the other stories of the people who went through the same telephone call as me and although I did not get ripped off myself, I decided to post a claim so that people know that this company is a fraud. Do not trust them!!!
