I ordered the new book for the us postal exam test battery 473/473 c which also includes 2 audio cd's. This item was ordered over the phone and the rep stated that the item was available just as it was stated on the website.
They waited until after they collected all of my information such as name, phone, address, email before they sent me an email to state that it had to be back ordered so i called the csr and i spoke with a kianna who claims that walmart customer service reps donot know what the company has in stock - so my question is how can you take orders - how can you what the company sells if you dont have access to the company inventory database. I asked her for the number to hq - she gave me a bogus number and she required me to provide a billing address just to get that info.

I called back today and guess what? The item that they don't have in stock is still listed as an item that is available - now i think thats a crimninal act.
If you sell an item on ebay but fail to list the item as being out of stock then the other person could haul you into court for fraud - if that same act was performed on an government entity then someone would definately go to jail...
Some may think that this is being petty but i believe that if you donot have an item in stock then please list the item as being out of stock - list that the item needs to be back ordered.
I will never buy anything else from walmart again on or offline - i will urge others to stay away especially after seeing so many complaints on them already on this site.
