I received a call from 250-415-8620 (John Williams) stating that I had won Royal Trust Sweepstakes in the amount of $250,000.00.
He wanted to know where he could mail a partial check to, and I gave him my PO Box because I suspected a scam. I received a check for $ 7899.99 with an attached letter stating that I had to wire 75% of the money back to them within one week to receive the remainder of the supposed $250,000.00. I took it to the bank for their review, and upon investigation, it was in fact, a fraudulant check. The routing number on the check was a valid one... Just not to that specific check's bank it was drawn on.
The check is now in the hands of my bank, which referred this website to me.
