My company received a bill for $374.95 for some directory. When I questioned the bill, they stated that they had an audio recording of one of our employees verifying the purchase. I asked them if our employee was notified that the conversation was being recorded. They stated that he was. I told them that I was the company's fraud investigator and would like to obtain a copy of the recording for the Attorney General's Office for the State of New York.
They stated that the would "Delete" this debt to make it go away. I told them that I won't let it go away. The New York Attorney Generals Office is aware of Infomatika and will mail you a complaint form.
