We have/had an appointment with Sears repair to fix our Samsung dryer today. The technician called but we were not able to get to the phone. We literally called his cell phone back within 3 minutes. No answer. We called 1 800 469-4663 and the Supervisor said the 'Corporate Policy', is if the tech does not get an answer he immediately cancels the appointment! What the hell is that? Why doesn't Sears give the customer 10-15 minutes to call the tech back and say "Yes, we are here"?
This is a complete joke. The tech did not even leave us a message. Our front door is OPEN and there are 5 cars in the driveway.
Sears MUST CHANGE their policy to allow the customer a 15 minute time frame to confirm we ARE HERE.
