I purchased a $1,800.00 mattress with full 10 year warranty from Ashley Furniture on February 1. I called to report a defect in the mattress approximately one month ago. Om July 28 Technical Support Team came to verify the mattess had actually caved in straight down the middle by approx 2" inches. They verified there was no apparent reason for the mattess to lose its support. However, today August 4 I received a letter stating they could not honor the warranty due to stains on the mattress. Although the damage is defective, they claim they do not have to honor the warranty because it has stains.
This disclaimer is a rip-off what do normal wear in tear of stains in two years have to do with comprimising the durability of the mattress They sold me a defective mattress and now I have to live with it!
