I was at my local Home Depot and got a lot of items for my home. I then went to pay for them. I waited in a line, meaning one, out of 10 regs, but only one was open. I waited over 10 minutes, and I still had about 5 people in front of me. One person in line had an item that did not have a price on it. The lady called for the plumbing department.
To find the price for the item, I waited. The man showed up 4 minutes later and then walked back. After about another 4 minutes the lady picked up the phone, and it was the price for the item. Then the next person went up with the same problem, another 8 minutes. I gave up after I was in line for over 30 minutes. I will never go shopping there again.
This was not the first time I had this problem. I talked to managers before, and they said they are on a budget and cannot hire more people to sell items. Their service is terrible. There was another time I got something from Home Depot and found out that what I was buying was someone's seconds. The item had been opened before and returned, and they just put it back up to sell to me. Big rip-off. HD service is terrible.
