Brand new kitchen (new sink, drain, dishwasher, hoses, etc). The dishwasher isn't fully draining midcycle, leaving dirty water to "wash" the dishes, standing water in the bottom of the dishwasher at the end of each wash. So Whirlpool sends out A&E Factory Service. The first guy they send claims it's that the drain isn't big enough. My contractor calls bullshit, he's installed the same size in hundreds of other houses and not had this problem. But I indulge A&E and install the largest branch drain Lowe's sells which also entails a new drain line, now with 1" ID. Same problem. So I call A&E back and tell them to come back out. It was very difficult to get the foreigner in their call center to understand that they needed to come back out, but it sounded like I finally did. But they fail to send anyone after a month. So I go back to Whirlpool and schedule through them. A second A&E guy comes out at 2pm (when the service window was 8am-12pm) and now blames the drain line. "It's got a kink in it." This is PVC Reinforced Braided Vinyl Tubing, trust me, I couldn't put a kink in it if I wanted to. Despite being unable to prove that it's got a kink in it, he demands $60 something because Whirlpool won't pay since the problem supposedly isn't the dishwasher. Some new A&E policy since the first service call? I told him to take a hike. The problem is the dishwasher and this company is blaming everything but it to get out of doing any work. What a waste of my time.
