Unbelieveable rip-off NEVER buy from All Power America!
I'm amaized that I seem to be the first to report this company here!
Generator Model APG3004C is. Promoted on the cadrton as 1,000 watt surge, 800 watt rated - but the warranty rep told me the outlet was only rated at 4 amps - barely 480 watts and that it was MY fault that the machine failed (at only 580 watts! Just over half the "rated" load)
The carton also said it would run for 8 hours on 1/2 gallon of gas, but at the above load it ran out of gas after only six hours.
If I had checked them out at Amazon dot com I NEVER would have bought that piece of junk!
All-Power America is a distributor of (among other things) cheap "Made in China" generators that are promoted using false or misleading advertising. The owner's manual is terribly deficient as well.
