Repair unsuccessful - Cell Phone

Bought a Google Nexus S in January and noticed only later that the touch screen was defective. There was an area 2.5 inches from the top of the phone, that was not working at all.in he beginning I thought it was a problem with the application that I was using but after trouble shooting and installing Touch Test, I noticed it is a problem with the phone. I tried everything and after calling the Samsung call center on the 5 of April and explaining to them what the problem is and even offered to send them a photo of the exact area that I am having a problem with. They said that I have to send the phone to them for repairs. I received the phone back on the 21 of April with a note that said that the problem was found and they did a systems update... Of course the touch screen still has the part that is not working that they never even mentioned. What is the point in explaining what the problem is when nobody is listing to you? Phoned Samsung again the same day to tell them that the phone still has the original problem only to hear that the technician probably didn't understand what the problem was. Don't know why I gave my cellphone number if they couldn't go to the extra mile and just ask me again what my problem was. Now I have to send the phone back again and will have to wait another 2 weeks to see if this time they can fix the problem.
