I was a victim of Nationwide Home Warranty and their bogus Home Warranty Contract. I had thought at the time I was dealing with a legitimate and reliable company. I had thought I did enough research at the time I purchased a contract from them. It is unfortunate that I didn't know what I know now, the tricks of the trade.
I didn't know that some companies basically buy space on search engines and basically get "top billing" and can pretty much manipulate what people find in a search. I guess I didn't look deep enough or it was too early to find negatives or so many of them.
I purchased the contract and thought I was purchasing a little peace of mind. However when I called them I found myself in the same boat as many others, screwed.
I may be down but don't count me out.
If anyone would like to share experiences, information or vent, there is a face book page set up for that. (go easy on me, new to the face book thing - http://www.facebook.com/profile.php? Id=100002921326742)
I am learning something new about this every day. Hopefully every dog has their day.
