I had Cardinal windows installed in my home when it was built. The windows have a 10 year warranty. I have had the company out 2 times when I first built the house to replace 6 windows that had the film between the glass pains damaged due to manufacturing.
When I washing the windows over the weekend I noticed that several more windows are showing the same problems and some have broken seals.
Today I called the company and they told me that they no longer manufacture the windows and that they are only a re-seller of other brands (yet one of those brands is Cardinal). I was also told since they no longer manufacture windows that will NOT honor any windows that they used to manufacture.
They told me to take the windows someplace else to get them repaired or replaced. It is no longer their problem even though the name of the company is Cardinal and the location is still the same place when they originally sold them to us.
