When I purchased my new home, AHS issued coverage for the appliances and fixtures in my home. When 1 of my toilets cracked and leaked onto my bathroom floor, and caused damage to the floor, AHS denied my warranty coverage due to their contractor being "Unable to diagnose the cause of the failure to the bathroom water closet being removed". Unfortunately due the contractors delay in responding to my request for service and the necessity to remove the WC in order to fix the damage to the wooden floor, it was necessary to photograph the malfunctioning WC, and damaged floor and remove same to proceed with the required repairs and to limit further damage to the wooden floor from water damage.
Submitted photographs specifically document the damage and any competent contractor would easily be able to verify both the cause of the damage the required repairs necessary to rectify this problem.
