I just wanted to warn everyone out there, if they are planning to deal with United Air Comfort to beware! I scheduled an appointment two weeks in advance, recieved a confirmation call from them in the morning, waited all day for no one to show up!
When they didn't arrive as scheduled, I called to find out where they were, to be told that there was no "work order" sent out, and basically someone dropped the ball. I asked the man on the phone who I could call to report this so called flaw in the system, and was told to call the 1 888 703-2653 number on Monday am. Here is where the real discouraging part comes in.
I called the number and a lady answered the phone, I asked to speak to the manager, she did everything she could to sway me away from talking to anyone but her. She tried to get me to reschedule, and I explained to her that I felt uncomfortable doing that until the "flaw" in there system was fixed. I asked for her name, and she put me on hold. After holding for some time I called back the number that appeared on my caller ID box from the confirmation call.
The same girl answered the phone, I asked for her name and she said "China" I explained to her again that my goal was not to get anyone into trouble, I just felt they needed to now about the problem. She just kept trying to reschedule the appointment and refused to let me talk to someone, she was very rude, and told me that they would not be able to help me, and that no one would be able to help. I then told her that I was going to post an advertisment in the local paper in which I received their coupon in about the poor customer service and the way they do business, of course she hung up on me!
Every phone number I had listed for this company had the same person answer the phone! I got nowhere! Thank god I did not do bussiness with them. I later called a local company and the woman told me that they had recieved a lot of people calling with complaints about United Air Comfort. People who had service done with them, have had problems, and feel that the technicans werea joke, and did not know what they were doing. I guess it goes to show you that there are scam artist out there!!! Beware!!!
