Last fall I hired Quality Tree Care Inc (phone number (954) 581-1100) to remove tree and grind stump below ground. They left a big pile of wood chips behind. The city a few months later asked me to remove the wood chips. When I removed them, I noticed that a large portion of stump remained. It was sticking a foot from the ground and approximately three feet wide.
I called the company and asked them to complete the service. The receptionist said "Sure we can be out there in a few days. Stuff like this happens all the time." However, a week went by and no one came out. Then I began calling them for a status update. But they no longer were responding to my calls. If this isn't unprofessional and sneaky, then I don't know what is. I paid them for the service and they should have delivered on it.
