Lone Star Softub — Just Say NO!
The Softub website quotes you can enjoy your hot tub daily for less than $10 a month...
My bill DOUBLED from $140's to $280's... in the first month.
Lone Star showed no concern or interest... Even though clearly this is not the anticipated $10 / mos I was led to believe would happen.
It continued to rise the 2nd month, exceeding $500 in the third...
That's when I unplugged it.
The dealer rep has REFUSED to even take a look at it to see if something's wrong with it. I had an electrician come out and inspect the outlet and wiring — and confirmed there are no problems there.
I even contacted the Softub manufacturer, who advised me — that even though they've received a number of complaints re: Lone Star Softub, I still have to deal with them.
So... I'm stuck completing payment on a tub I can't afford to run... And couldn't, in good conscience... Even give to a friend, let alone sell it.
My advise is: look elsewhere for a hot tub.
As soon as I can get this paid for, and get rid of it... I will too!
