I have a running email records of ongoing arguments with Lone Star Security. I was dissatisfied with their service and misleading statements. I felt they broke any contract with me by failing to repair my alarm system and it continually was malfunctioning.
My husband and I are senior citizens and he is a cancer patient and we had been burglarized a couple of years before contracting with Lone Star, so the continual malfunctioning was very frightening and concerned me very much.
I was offered a trial period for their offered armed patrol but I felt it was not worth the additional money. I only wanted the alarm system to work properly or a new system and Lone Stars owner, Bruce Boyer, failed to respond to my many requests for help.
After not hearing from him for over a year, I have just received a letter from a collection agency, (Allied Collection Services in Van Nuys, CA 91406) for $673.40 plus interest of $24.35 totaling $697.75.
I plan to take Mr. Boyer to Small Claims court as soon as I am able, however, due to my schedule of taking my husband to cancer treatments daily except for Sunday, this will have to wait.
Meanwhile, I dispute any blot on my credit record due to this unwarranted harassment by Mr. Boyer of Lone Star Security. Please advise if there is anything further I need to do to protect my credit record.
