I have had 2 cases of Valspar paint not matching.
Within The first occasion, I purchased a gallon of color at shop A. After performing all of the cut and 3 of the surfaces, I went from color. Visited shop W for gallon 2. Completed work nevertheless when it dried, it did not fit gallon 1. There is a substantial variation in tones. Required some images, returned to shop 2. They decided color didn't fit but recommended that I return to shop 1 given that they occasionally have "film problems". They combined the color at shop 1, did not cost me. I used gallon 3 to some little region... It matched gallon 2.in the place of battling them, I repainted all of the cut and also the additional 3 surfaces. Plenty of additional work-but it looks fantastic.
Example 2. This time around I purchased 2 gallons to paint a room of smaller-size than first space. Despite the fact that I had been painting over bright surfaces (having a gentle orange color), one-coat wasn't enough. I just had about 1 quart quit after one-coat. After I went out, I purchased the Next gallon. You know what??? It, also, does not complement the very first 2 gallons which period I visited the exact same shop (they actually employed exactly the same device).
