I buy a lot of paint from WalMart because I own a 24 unit mall within 5 minutes of WalMart and I really liked their paint. I just purchased some paint, the same color of some paint that I purchased in November. I gave them the exact formula for the color and the paint came out around 4 shades darker on one color and the other color came out completely different. I used the paint anyway but it was not the same as it was before. Bad paint! The paint also had a lot less pigment than the old paint and does not cover well anymore. I just found out that they changed the manufacturer and, obviously, changed the color of the base. WalMart should have put up a sign warning their customers that they changed manufacturers and that the paint would not match paint they had previously used and that the quality was really bad. I would much rather have paid $5.00 more per gallon instead of having the wrong color and having to put on an extra coat of paint. This was a very bad move on the part of WalMart. I understand that WalMart wants to get out of the paint business but what a way to get out of it by ticking off all of your paint customers.
I am one ticked off customer! Donna Wright. Green Valley, Arizona
