A year ago this month we purchased a Rain Soft water treatment system. It has yet to be installed. Jimmy with the co. Came by and installed the outside unit. He put it in the wrong place and my husband asked him to move it which he did. Then he stated he did not have the inside system and would be by the next afternoon at 4pm, he wasn't.
I had left work to be there but he didn't show up. I told my daughter if he showed up to call me as I work 5 minutes away. She called me and I came home, I passed him on my way home. I called Rain Soft and the receptionist apologized and set another apointment. Ha Jimmy never showed up to all six of the appointments, one time he stopped by and dropped off the rainsoft products (left them outside) which we should have received in Sept. we didn't receive until mid Jan.
The last appointment I made (8) another guy showed up, my husband had told me to them remove the outside system and take everything else. He stated I would have to contact the company to have anything done. I called Rain Soft and was told that we had not recorse but to pay. I told them we would not pay until the system was installed.
At the time I didn't know that when we signed the contracts it was through a lending agent, not Rain Soft. Our credit was then messed up and I talked with them informing them of the fact that Rain Soft had not installed the total system. They stated that we had signed a contract with them. When both of us believed we were buying the system through rain soft.
Needless to say we paid off the loan and are now stuck as rain soft will not finish the job.
