I bought two (2) bedroom sets from levitz on 04/25/03, they delivered the furnature a month later (june 25th approx.) in the middle of july my son told me that one of the doors on the corner pier cabinet was hanging by one of the hinges, i called levitz coustomer service center to request to have someone repair the door, they said that they could have someone out by the end of august (30 august 03)
I asked for a morning appointment as i had something to do in the afternoon, they said that it could probly be done as it was a month away and they would tell me the day before (29 august 03) they came to service my furnature, on 29 august i got a call from the company who was to repair the furnature and the said that they would be out in the afternoon of saturday 30 august, i told them that i had request a morning appointment as i had to be somewhere else in the afternoon, they said that i would have to reschedule the appointment againg,
I called the levitz coustomer service number and when i put in my phone number the message was that they were not available, i tried this number a dozen times with the same message, i called the store were i bought my furnature and i tried to explain to them that i could not get through to coustomer service, the operater took my number and said that she would try and get back to me, i waited for 45 minutes and called back again this time it was a guy and i explained to him as to what was happening, he told me to give him my phone number and he would try and get trhrough to them, i went out for a couple of hours.
When i got back, there was a phone message for me to call him back at the store, i called back and he told how to get the coustomer service dept. I got through and proceeded to explain myb problem to these people, all the time i kept getting the same story as to how the company they contract out sewts the appointments and not levitz, i finally got a number for the service company and i talked with them and they told me that levitz is the one who sets the appointments, i was going back and forth between these people, i finally talked with a woman at levitz and asked to speak with a manger to which she said she was it and that if i wanted to get someone above her to write to the company in mesa, ariz.
The name she gave me was correspondance dept. As head man or woman.
