After placing an order consisting of several smaller items, and one very large cabinet, I received an email order confirmation showing the correct billing address AND the correct shipping address. Two partial shipments were sent to the SHIPPING address, unfortunately the 120 lb cabinet was sent to the BILLING address instead. The package was dropped off when nobody was home. It is an oversize package which needs to be handled by at least 2 persons and reshipping it to the correct address would cost me $200.
I immediately attempted to contact the seller, Home Storage Concepts. Unfortunately there is no live customer service, a call (which I made several of in the following days) only gets you a voice mail system. I left several messages, then sent several email messages to their so-called "customer service" email. Their website shows all types of "customer satisfaction" policies - but how can a customer get satisfaction if there is no way to get in contact with anyone, nor does the seller think it necessary to respond to any messages.
The oversized package has been sitting in a garage for almost three weeks now. Not only do I not have the cabinet I ordered at my disposal at the shipping address, it and is a major inconvenience for my family living at the billing address.
Not someone to get upset easily if I know that there is someone willing to help, I saw no other recourse than to contact my credit card company - which was unable to get any response from the seller either at this time.
I am all for e-commerce, but companies promising "the best" customer service even though their business is operated online and then not even bothering to respond, should be identified as such.
At this time I do not even have a way of returning the cabinet to the seller without incurring extra cost and possible restocking charges.
This is very bad business practice and I will certainly not ever purchase from this seller again.
