Sequoia at Stonebriar, Sequoia in Frisco, Sequoia apartments Trying to collect on 2 water bills, carpet that was used prior to move in, their maintenence ruined our clothes, bugs ate all of our food, ETC

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with... Not just apartements. Any!
What happned in the 16 months we were there?
1 - Rats all over the place... Dog actually killed 2 of them if that tells you anything... We had a $1000 mattress in our garage on top of a table and one somehow chewed a hole in it... Months after we had complained about the problem
2 - we got some bugs in our pantry, and they ate all of our food... When I confronted the manger of the complex I was told..."It's not our problem" and all I was asking for was to have an exterminator there in the morning... And she said no that they couldnt
3 - One of their maintence people came into our apartment when we werent home to fix something... Spilled bleach all over the clothes in the laundry room, put a huge black spot on the carpet... When we told them about it they said he didnt do it... And again had to raise a stink with the owners before anything was done... Then came to find out that they had TONS of complaints against the guy and it took them another few months to fire him...
4 - When we moved in we had used carpet that we have pictures of... They are now trying to charge us for the carpet that they have to change out... Over $800... I had my parents down for 2 days. An 8 month pregnant wife, me our 15 year old cleaning the apartment for 2 days because it was our duty to have it clean... And then I got something in the mail stating that I owed them money... SERIOUSLY!
5 - We moved at the beginning of May, and tried to get them to work with us to get out without having to pay that extra 2 months... We were moving into a house because we were about to have another baby... They cited the contract over and over... Without offering any help... I dropped it and went ahead and paid the 2 months that we were not going to be living there. THEN they are now trying to charge us for 3 months of water bills when we were not there... Yep you heard that right. They wanted me to pay the electric bill... Which I had turned off and I laughed at them... They tried to state we had to keep the electric on.
Living there was h*ll, but we tried to make the best of it... They are fun people, and if it was something less important than where you lived might be okay. Like selling shoes or something:) but I would HIGHLY reccommend anyone considering living here to find somewhere else... You will regret it if you sign the contract... Until you sign it they are great... Afterwards its "well the contract says" and I have lived in many apt complexes previous to this one and they seemed to always want to work with you, which is 180 degrees from the exp here.
I have never written one of these about a company, but we were contacted by a collection company for $800 for the carpet that was worn, but was already used when we moved in and 3 months of water bills for months that we didnt live there. SO I will be posting one of these EVERYTIME the collection company calls about this.
I have emails that were written from the company that I will be posting etc.
I followed through with paying out my contract to them even 2 months we did not live there, I just expect them to drop this whole collection thing.
Renter beware of this place!!
