I Hired Daneil Tijerina & Daneil Tijerina Jr. With "Rising Tile Marble & Stone" to remodel a Bathroom. They were supposed to Remove all the fixtures, and install new Marble Tiles (of a design that I approved ahead of time) and then re-install new fixtures.
I was told the entire process would take 4 - 5 days and that he would need an advance payment of $2,800.00 to purchase the marble & supplies in order to start the work.
I provided a check for the requested amount which he immediately drove to my bank and cashed (I know this because the bank teller called me to verify the transaction before she issued the cash).
They showed up several days later to start the job, proceeded to tear everything out of the restroom (down to the floor) and then left again without setting a single piece of Marble. They did not return and left me with a unusable bathroom. I called and called over the next couple of weeks, I was given one excuse after another but they would not return. Eventually they stopped answering the phone at all.
Finally several weeks later, I hand delivered a letter to their house threatening legal action if they did not immediately return and begin the work that I had already paid a very large sum of money for.
After that they finally came back and installed about 15 % of the marble (just enough so that he could re-connect the toilet) and then disappeared again.
The marble they installed was poorly done, several of the tiles were broken, some of them were of the design that I had approved and the rest were not. It was clear that they were using old mis-matched marble that they had left over from other jobs and trying to pass it off onto me.
They did such a poor job of re-installing the toilet that it leaked every time it was flushed. The sink did not have any cold water, only the hot water worked.
Over the next several weeks I tried relentlessly to get them to come out and correct the errors and finish this job, but they never did. Eventually I was forced to hire another contractor who had to tear out much of the work that Daneil Tijerina had done and do it properly. I ended up paying for this job twice.
The bottom line here is that "Rising Tile Marble & Stone", Daniel Tijerina and Daniel Tijerina Jr. Are FRAUDS. They will take your money and run, and you'll end up paying twice for the same job.
Beware, do not do business with daniel tijerina, daniel tijerina jr., or rising tile marble & stone.
