My husband and I were remodeling our house for our sons graduation party and had Derrick from CA Carpet came to our house for an estimate. He measured for the familyroom and two bedrooms, we asked if he knew anyone who refinished hardwood too. Derrick said they also did hardwood. He measured the floors (steps, landing, hallway and closets) The price was good so we scheduled a time to have the floors finished.
The two guys who came out said they were only to do the STEPS! We fought to have all the hardwood finished like quoted. They finished with the wrong color, the main floor guy came out and resanded and refinished again with a stain that was not recommened for FLOORS! Derrick gave us a 2 year warranty on the floors they were down for over 15 years before we had them refinished!!!
Carpet came in and they didn't order enough to carpet the familyroom and 2 bedrooms. Derrick said we can do HALF of the familyroom and ONE bedroom. They did all of the familyroom and reordered for the bedrooms. They just installed the 2 bedrooms tonight BUT the color does not match it is alot lighter. This has been a terrible experience and the familyroom was not finished for the party. Do not use this company
