This man is one of the worst low life's I have ever encountered. He not only did a horrible remodel job, he took forever to do it.
To fix the mess he left will mean almost starting over. Jack remodeled my kitchen and baths. We have sinks and bathtubs that do not hold water, tile floor that was not installed correctly per two seperate tile experts/installers and Hamilton Parker tile company in Columbus. I also have cabinet drawers that hang crooked and the finishing molding is not as we agreed upon on the top of the kitchen cabinets and much more! I wish I could show you pictures!
This man CANNOT BE TRUSTED in buisness matters or with WOMEN! I found out the hard way that this man is a SMOOTH operator and uses women all the time. His live in girlfriend Karen L. Tried to warn me. I am so ASHAMED I can hardly tell this, but if it saves just one woman from Jack its worth it. Jack came on to me many times in his showroom and my home. I am a married woman of 33yrs.
And my marriage was in a slump, NO EXCUSE I know. Jack wore me down with his constant flattery and we ended up in an affair, he told me he would always be there for me, and he knew we would be together someday. Wanted to know where I was for the last 30 years.
He said he only lived with Karen because she was a convenience, he said he did not love her and had no intention of ever marrying her. He said she got sick and he told her to stay with him while she recovered, next thing he knew she was selling her stuff and moving in. Now I should have been smart and ran when I found out he left his first wife Bonnie and two kids for his secretary Debbie who he later married and then he started an affair with Karen, Karen later told me he even had dinner with her on Jack and Debbies anniversary. Jack claims to me having an affair with Karen was a mistake and he should not have let Debbie get away, he really did LOVE her but he is now stuck with Karen. Knowing all this I let Jack ruin my marriage and because of the affair and all his lies I let Jack's bad job slide, even though he kept promising to fix the problems, I'm sure he never intended to really do it, it was just another of his lies.
The worst part is I was so so STUPID not to listen to Karen, Karen told me Jack was like a kid in a candy store and should not be in the kitchen remodel buisness because he is always trying to hit on the women. NOW why does she stick around, well Jack knows he has her right where he wants her, he provides everything and he said she does not have anything or anywhere to go. Now she is a good companion, keeps his house in order and makes a him look good in front of his neighbors and married friends, they look like the happy little couple! But bottom line he does not love her and like he told me, quote "I will not die with her". When he retires he has no intention of sticking with her, he told me that. Now maybe she is the smart one, he has had two or three heart attacks, he will be 60 in June and she just turned 55 this past January, if he kicks the bucket she will take everything, I cannot imagine any other reason she would stick with him when she knows as well as I do he does not love her and is using her like he does all the women. I used to feel sorry for her but then I realized she was no better than me, she broke up his marriage and she even admitted to me that Debbie hates her guts, well Debbie I guess you get the last laugh!
WELL now I am sure this sounds like sour grapes, and I will be the first to admitt I am bitter about all the lies Jack told me and the fact that he could care less if he ruined my marriage. Jack told my husband when confronted by him about his intentions that he only cared about his Harley motorcylce and someday retiring and just riding, THIS OLD MAN NEEDS TO GROW UP. BUT sour grapes is not why I am telling this, Jack/Karshner Sales really did do a bad remodel job, we even fired him once because he was taking so long to get started after he partially tore out some things and then left us in a mess for the Holidays, he would not return calls, his secretary Cindy always tries to cover for him.
His problem is he tells everyone what they want to hear when he talks to them knowing full well he does not have enough installers to cover all he promised. He does a little at one job to appease for awhile and then sends his installers to the one who is fussing the most, I BET THIS SOUNDS FAMILIAR TO ALOT OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE HIRED JACK, if so let rip off reports hear from you. I wish I had never re-hired Jack, the only reason I did was he was a little cheaper, the old saying, you get what you paid for! Well I paid alot and I GOT USED and RIPPED OFF!
I hope this saves someone from falling prey to Jack Reynolds bad business, shabby work, lies and sexual advances. I know that some of you feel it is my fault too for the affair part, well that is so true, it takes two to tango, BUT if you are the least bit vunlnerable, or having a little down time in your marriage HE IS SO SMOOTH he will move in and you will be in a situation you never dreamed you were capable of.
PLEASE PLEASE BEWARE, I wish as I said before I had listened to his girlfriend Karen, after all she knows all too well what kind of con he his!!
