Misrepresented the quality of their furniture

I am completely disatisfied by the service and workmanship hosted by Art Van Furniture. I bought a living room set from Art Van in February. Since I have received the furniture, the cores of the couch and 2 chairs have been replaced three times. The first and second service man who came to my home said yes, they are broke down, we will send off for new ones, then the last time they came the service man left and said there was no problem. I do admit they were not as beaten down as in previous replacements but they were close. I had a Manager call me and tell me that she was only going to replace them one more time as a courtesy to me, and after that I will have to pay for the high density foam replacement cores which would be approx. $500.00 more. I had been told this aswell on a previous conversation with service, and I wish they would have offered me the high density cores at the time of purchase, because then I would have known that they donot believe in the manufacturers quality and prepared for this. The cushions are 6 inches deep when they put in the new cores, after 2 months they are 2 inchs deep and the material ripples and you can feel the wood construction under the seat pinching you, after another month they are only 1 inch deep. I was told on the phone that this is normal, and just breaking in of the chairs and sofa... I was also told that I was "sappose" to feel the wood construction in this set, and that is how the furniture is "sappose" to feel. That is ridiculous! If I wanted to feel the wood construction of my furniture, I would have bought something without cushions like a park bench. I have also had problems with my other furniture purchased in the set... The enamel or paint has been cracking, the service tech slapped non matching paint over top, and actually missed the cracking. My ottoman has been restuffed, and still you can drop a quarter on it and the material will ripple. The door on my wine console is not hung properly and they already ordered a new door for it, but when the door came in the manufacturer had changed the position of the hinges and they could not fix it... Apparently all of these things are not a manufacturers defect. I can say they did fix one of my tables, one of the legs was a quarter of a inch longer than all of the rest, they actually asked me if I would rather they just took a saw to it or get me a new table... Lol... I opted for the new table. I purchased the five year warranty, so they will keep sending people to my house and tell me nothing is wrong with the furniture... Meanwhile it looks like it is five years old right now. The only person I get to talk to is this manager who compares my couches and end tables to buying pillows, "after a week they are flat"... What pillows is she buying? Do Not buy there 5 year warranty, because you then have to convince them that you did not do this to your furniture. You cannot convince them that it is a manufactured defect, they will tell you it isnt, that it is simply sappose to be this way, and the fact that your chair and couch looks like something you bought for $299.00 not $4000.00 is the way it is, and you have to live with it. I believe my furniture could completly fall apart sitting alone in a room, and I am sure they will tell me that it is "sappose" to do that!
