I requested service on a broken appliance on Saturday, AHS had their service co call me to set an appointment. The service Co. Never called back with a time. I contacted AHS after 3 days to let them know and was to find out that the Co. Would not come out to repair anything until a day when I could not be at home. I was under the impression repairs were to made within 48 hours of requesting service and this is true. The service co would not do this and I had to call an outside company to come fix my appliance and AHS would not reimburse me for this expense. I Would of had to wait another 7 days before the co that was contracted through AHS would come out. This is unacceptable. It ended up costing me $155.00 for the repairman I had fix my washer.
Another time right before Christmas my Well broke, They don't even have a Co the use to fix wells. I was told to find a Well co. And ask them 50 questions to even find out if AHS would honor their work. I was with out water for 3 days that time and ended up having to pay $380.00 to have it fixed and still have to pay AHS for this coverage they do not even cover.
