I hired Mr. Sandless to refinish my hardwood floors as I am preparing to sell my home. They came at 9:00 and stayed until 7:30. They told me that my "engineered" oak hardwood flooring needed to be colored. I agreed because I was under the impression that they were supposed to be the experts. When they were done the floor was solid brown. You can no longer tell that it is hardwood flooring. It looks like painted brown plywood with a coat of wax on it. My realtor suggested suing the company and getting my floors replaced. He said that the house will not sell with the condition that the floors are in now after Mr. Sandless supposedly refinished them. They left paint on the baseboards and these will have to be replaced/painted also. The Mr. Sandless website advertises itself as the only company that can redo engineered/laminate flooring. This is untrue. They paint over the floors and add a coat of polyurethane to it and this is their definition of refinishing. I have checked on the internet and there are several complaints against this company. I would not recommend this service to anyone and sympathize with the others who have been victimized by this company and fooled by the promises on their website.
