The Italian Steam product was being sold at the South Shore Plaza kiosk "Super Steam" I watched the live demo of the steam iron taking wrinkles out of shirts on display. It seemed impressive. The sales person even let me try it. They claimed they were going to give me a deal, and sold me the product for $39.99 with a sticker price of $69.99. I brought the iron home and was shocked to find it didn't remove the wrinkles from my shirts.in addition, the unit spilled brown fluid out all over my shirt which stained it. I brought the unit back and demanded a refund. They refused! After much fighting, they gave in to giving me my money back. Or so I thought. They swiped my card and handed me a refund receipt. Days later, I checked my credit card statement. There was no refund. Weeks later, still no refund. This place uses deception and unethical business practices to sell a worthless product.
The catch:
The demo shirts they use say 100% cotton on the tag. The sales people make it a point to show you the tag. This is false. These shirts are not the material the sales attendants claim them to be. The shirts are a light weight silk like material.
