Do Not Use this lawn service. The workers are the best workers ever! The owner who's name is Felix Aguilar is a very dishonest person and very direspectful as well. I live in a very nice neighborhood and I along with other's that live here work hard to have the homes we have. We hired Mr. Aguliar's crew a few months back to do our yard and they quoted me $25.00 per week. Which is a good rate for my yard. I paid them with a check almost every time. Well, one afternoon whenever they came out to the house I was not home so they didn't get paid. I did however pay them the following Tuesday when they cut the yard. I gave them a check of $25.00 which was taped on my front door. The following week I paid them a $25.00 check and I gave them $25.00 in CASH because I had been that one week behind.
A few days later I received a letter placed onto my front door that said I still owed the company $25.00 and I needed to pay it. So I called Mr. Aguilar and told him I had paid the money to the crew whenever they came to my house and knocked on the door to get it. He went on to tell me that I never gave them a check and I still owed it. I even gave him the check number that I had written the check on and explained to him that I had hand wrote my home phone number on the check as well because I had spoken to the crew and told him I wanted them to do some landscaping so they asked me to place the phone number on the check so Mr. Aguilar could call me back with a quote. He said all I was trying to do was to get out of paying for his services. He said that all of us that live in these big fancy houses don't ever pay their bills like they should. That we take advantage of hard working people like him self. I told him I have no idea where you are coming from but I pay my yard bill and all the other's and I didn't appreciate him speaking to me the way he was. He told me look lady just pay me the money you owe me! He said that his crew had told him that I didn't give him anything at all. Anyway, I told him I did pay the check and I needed him to come to my house with his crew and have them stand in front of me and tell me something different. He told me again PAY YOUR BILL and hung up on me!
I tried calling back and kept hanging up on me. My husband called the next day from his office and he told him look I think you need to appoligize to my wife for the way you behavied. He told him he thought he was being very unfair to her (ME, the wife). He said oh really, well I'll just hang up on you as well so I will make it fair and he did. The next Tuesday the crew came out to do the yard again and told me they were really sorry but Mr. Aguilar had just jumped the gun. The crew memeber told me he had always had the check. They had given it to him in his office the day they got it in their hands. But Mr. Aguilar had misplaced it. So I guess he figured he could just get another check out of me. He had told me to stop payment on the other check and rewrite a check for him. Well, to stop payment it cost $32.00. So I told him no. I said you have it or your workers have it so find it! Anyway, What it boils down to is the man lied because he couldn't find the check to begin with. He thought he could call here and throw me off and get another check out of me. But I guess I pissed him off because I said No and I stuck to my word (which is the truth) so he went off on me and went into all the other crap he tried to fill me with. So since I have stopped using his service and I will tell all of my neighbors and I am placing an AD in our local paper as well so everyone know just how this man treats his client's. His workers work so hard and then he pays them crap as well. He thinks he can get these men from Mexico and pay them nothing. Everytime these very nice men would come to do our yard I would always make sure to have something for them to drink and I would always let them know they did such a good job. On the last check I gave them I told them please make sure your boss sees this. I put on the check your boss owes me a big appology! I also called and left a message on his phone because he wont answer any calls anymore from me or my husband and I told him all you had to do was fess up after you made such a fuss over everything and say I appolgize but I did find the check and I wanted to let you know I was sorry. But instead he cashed the check and I have since fired him and I will get all of my other friends that live out here to do the same. So if you ever come accross this company don't use them. The owner is only in it for himself. The worker's do everything and get paid jack!
