Our property manager, Robbie Tenpenny, allowed the tenants of our rental home to break the lease and leave early without obtaining our approval and she did not hold their entire security deposit.
We feel that Morris Properties owes us rent from the 7th through the 30th of November '06 ($769.31), an electric bill that is outstanding from the tenants ($45) and the remainder of the security deposit ($400). They did not conduct a thorough inspection of the house and it
took considerably more than the $100 they held back to fix up the house.
Below is a list of the employees involved:
Robbie Tenpenny (female) - Property Manager.
Dave Hendershot - Residential Rental Division Manager
Judy Rose - President/Accountant
Dave clearly admits that Robbie made a mistake, but he refuses to make good on it.
In our management agreement under Paragraph 2, Section A, it states that "AGENT shall use diligence in the management of the premises..."
On their website under the "Company Overview - About Us" they state "We will hold ourselves Accountable to our employees, customers, clients, vendors and company." Unfortunately, not in our case.in my opinion, their entire "Company Overview" on their website is false advertising.
When they admitted their mistake, they did nothing that their advertising suggests.
